Become a Volunteer

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN VOLUNTEERING AT THE 2010 RBC CANADIAN OPEN.  ALL VOLUNTEER POSITIONS HAVE BEEN FILLED AND WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS.  WE HOPE YOU WILL JOIN US AS A SPECTATOR. 

VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION
An electronic version of the 2010 RBC Canadian Open volunteer application form is available on the application webpage. We encourage all volunteers to fill out an application as soon as possible as committee positions will fill up quickly! 

VOLUNTEER SHIFT ASSIGNMENT
Each volunteer will be required to work a minimum of 24 hours during the week of the tournament. Marshals may be required to work additional hours. Each volunteer shift will be four (4) – six (6) hours, depending upon the committee. Committee chairman will compose the schedules, which will be made available to volunteers at the orientation meetings in June and July (please see FAQ).

VOLUNTEER COMMITTEE CONFIRMATION
Volunteers will be placed on their “first” choice committee provided there are still positions available. The tournament office will make every effort to help ensure all volunteers are placed accordingly. Payment for the volunteer package must be submitted with the application; however payments will not be processed until your volunteer position has been confirmed.

VOLUNTEER PACKAGE
The 2010 RBC Canadian Open volunteer package is $60. The package includes the following items:
1 Adidas golf shirt, hat or visor
1 non transferable volunteer badge
1 weekly transferable admissions badge
1 weekly parking pass 

VOLUNTEER UNIFORM
The volunteer uniform will consist of a golf shirt, hat or visor and we ask volunteers to provide their own khaki pants, shorts, skirts or capris.

Information regarding “Optional Items” will be provided to all volunteers at a later date.
